Butterflies for Africa is a world class Butterfly and Monkey House in Pietermaritzburg. Created especially for butterflies in all their unique shapes, colours and sizes, Butterflies for Africa provides guests with the opportunity of exploring the centre, learning about the butterflies and spending time amongst them as they flutter past.

The building is also home to an art gallery, craft shop and coffee shop. The butterfly enclosure is also home to a number of beautiful tropical birds and a monkey enclosure where visitors may see the rare cotton-top tamarin monkey.
